Ergonomic Assessment
Do you have difficulty getting comfortable in your home office workstation? Are you experiencing aches and pain with prolonged sitting, typing, or keyboarding?
An ergonomic assessment can help identify which aspects of your workstation are not set up appropriately and provide recommendations on how to improve your comfort.
Mental Health Support
When it comes to mental health challenges, we often have our daily activities affected. Whether you’re having difficulty with work, school, hygiene tasks, or daily tasks, Occupational Therapy services can help!
Shiny is passionate about providing personalized, compassionate, and trauma-informed care for all clients. Shiny has areas of focus in supporting clients with chronic illnesses, disabilities and neurodivergent clients. Services include ADHD coaching and autism support.
Activity Modification
Are you having trouble doing tasks due to a health condition or disability? Whether you’re experiencing a mental health or physical health condition getting in the way of your daily activities, activity modification can help!
Get support with ways to modify your daily tasks to make them easier and safer. Get back to doing the things that you want to do, need to do, and are expected to do in your daily life.
Costs
The standard rate is $140 per hour. In-person services located outside of London, Ontario, will be subject to additional mileage/travel costs.

Client Age
Shiny works with clients who are 16 and older at this time. Shiny does not provide pediatric OT services.
Insurance and Payment
At this time, payment is only accepted via e-transfer so unfortunately, direct billing is not available at this time. A payment receipt will be provided with services billed as Occupational Therapy services. Please check with your insurance company to review your coverage details.
Treatment Options
Shiny is offering appointments in community locations in London Ontario, such as your home (especially for home office ergonomic assessments) and public library meeting room locations.
Virtual sessions are also available as a convenient option. Virtual sessions are conducted through a secure videoconference platform.
